Like most workout equipment, rowers have come a long way technologically. However, while other types of fitness machines have employed more and more technology to improve, rowers have applied less. The water rowing machine is a perfect example of this.

The advantage of this is a better workout with more calorie and fat burning taking place. Every muscle in your body is being worked evenly and this even resistance also offers the best aerobic or cardio workout because you do not have any rest in between pulls.
But perhaps the biggest advantage comes down to a factor you may not have considered. Water rowers are fun and really feel like the real thing. Many people report using water rowers more often than other rowing machines or other types of fitness equipment because they are more comfortable and more fun to use. A fitness machine only works when used so it's important to not dread your workout and look forward to it instead.
